What kind of filter would clean that water ?

Here is the Lead and Copper test results from one of those houses in Flint , where they have been having the water contamination on the news .

Lead. 6,290 PPB

Copper. 22,080 PPB

is there any type of whole house water filter that would clean all that stuff out of the water ?

There's no need to filter. They simply need to fix their main water supply plant, get the liming ratio correct, etc. Once they have a proper scale built up on the pipes again (which was destroyed when they made their water so acidic due to incompetence at running the equipment already installed), the levels will drop back to normal.

But the politicians don't care about solving the real problem.

We have a reverse osmosis system. I believe that this type of filter would clean the water.
