Text inlay

Hi i'm hoping that someone can help me, i'm trying to engrave text once I have cut an item. So say a jigsaw piece then have it say my missing piece or something similar.

I can't figure it out at all I am using artcam to produce the tool paths, is this the correct programme or do I need something else?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
