Any Florida Snowbird Advice??

My neighbor is in his late 80's and a widower. Today he indicated he wanted to start going back to Florida after every Christmas and return in April. He and his wife used to go to the Gulf side and he wonders if there are any places he can rent for that period. He's not opposed to a small trailer but wants to know if there are any communities for snow birds. Any ideas?

Naples/Ft Myers area full of trailer parks.
My uncle lived in a pretty nice place near St. Augustine call Moultrie Oaks.
