Picked up a dewalt dw733 with a stand included for $200! Got to love Craigslist.

Score!

Great use for a mitersaw stand. Think I paid $99 just for the stand. (1/2 price if I remember right)

When I went to pick I was planning to offer $180 for the planer and he said the stand came with it so I didn't even bother negotiating.

Congrats! Let us know how it turns out for you after you run a couple of boards through it. Also, depending on your location you may have purchased the same one I was looking at  .

I'm in Atlanta. Where are you located?

Chicagoland. I just saw one but couldn't get to the guy fast enough :). I may end up saving for a new dewalt since they're pretty rare at the moment.

I've been looking for a while. They are usually gone before I even see them on Craigslist. There was one in Chattanooga I was willing to drive to but this one popped up. Glad I grabbed this one since the stand came with it!

That was a bit of a drive but that's a nice grab! Hope it works out for you. That's part of my struggle. There's a ton of stuff over and over (same pieces) in Wisconsin but I don't want to drive 3-6 hours round trip for the machine. Ah well, have fun with your new tool!!!

The one that I bought was only about 45 mins away so not to bad.

My 733 has been a work horse. Replaced the belt (my fault. Had a jam.) Keep the blades sharp. You've got a winner.
