Flexcut carving jack knife

I'm not a carver, yet, but I have a friend who carves a little and is retiring in a couple of months and I would like to get him the flexcut carving jack pocket knife that he could use while traveling and injoying his retirement.. Is this a quality product.

No replies? I'll add my $0.02. I'm no carver either, but I have one and think it's a pretty good buy. Lots of gadgets, the blades get and stay sharp. Comes with a strop, so that's easy. It will NOT take the place of all of your tools, nor will it do everything. In fact, they sell a lefty and a righty, since they cut in different directions......

Keep it in your pocket, and carve little things while waiting or sitting around, sure. Does all at the workbench, no.
