Which hinge for a Shopmade Sector?

I've decided I need to build a pair of Jim Tolpin's sectors (the divider-y looking things that hinge in the middle).

It looks like I can go tiny tiny butt hinge or use something like a barrel hinge. afaict, I just need something that has a pivot point I can make in line with the inside edge if the sector and keeps a constant radius as it opens.

Any ideas? There's a nice 3/4" brusso but hinge or Lee valley sells a nice barrel hinge.

I used a 1/4" strap hinge from Brusso. Nice and tight with almost no play.

I was going to use the hinge from an old broken four fold rule.
