Some times the simplest thing is the best, I posted a couple weeks ago about my lathe not having any power when I put any kind of load on it. Many of you replied with different remedies and it turned out the first and easiest was the answer. I unplugged it for an hour or so, plugged it in, held the reset for a little bit and that did it. I took the drive head to my local club with a 1642,we put them side and compared the readings on the VDR. They both checked out the same at every speed so we did not mess with anything else. I used the lathe a lot over the last two days, no work, snowstorm in Iowa, good way to get the politicians out of town, and the lathe worked fine. Thanks again to all of you. Kevin
