Sometimes I come across threads that interest me and come back a few days later only to see it has been "moved".

Is there a way to see where a thread has been moved to.

If you are talking about the Makita drill sale, its in the Deals and Discounts forum.

Here's a link: http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?240289-Makita-drills-on-sale-at-Home-Depot

When a thread is moved, there is usually a link left in place that will expire in 1-3 days so if you try to find it after that time, it could be a bit more challenging to locate it. If you find threads of interest, simply subscribe to it.

If it's a thread to which you have responded, the easiest way to find it is to click on your name at the top of the page. When the "View your profile" window opens up, on the left side select "Find latest posts". Then you will get a list of your latest posts referenced to the appropriate thread.

You will not be able to get to it because you are not a contributor.

Excellent point, Cary! Access to the Deals & Discount and Classified forums are limited to Contributor status folks. For a small $6/year (50 cents/month), you can become a Contributor and help us out with keeping the site up and running.

Members can read the Classifieds Forum but can't post.

Members can read both forums they just can't post in either one.
The classifieds yes. Ken's link is dead to me. It says I do not have permission to view the forum.

Sorry Cary,

I made the mistake of stating the Members could read the D&D Forum, they cannot.
