Just saw this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S074ke-EJ6U)on youtube. The joint is somewhat similar to a lock miter. Has anyone else made a joint like that in a single cut?

It appears that the height of the blade and the dado stack thickness need to be dead-on. His method might be useful for production work if a small saw could be dedicated to the process to reduce setup time. And always use consistent thickness material like baltic birch ply.

I guess one of the drawbacks is under drawer mounting hardware may not work. Some may consider another drawback to be the weight/cost of the drawer since the drawer bottom is as thick as the sides.
