Here is a link (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=23719&highlight=lyptus) to the first thread for this project.

The stain is General Finishes Rosewood (http://www.generalfinishes.com/finishes/water-base-finishes/waterbase_finishes.htm#EF%20Wood%20Stains)water based stain and PolyCrylic (http://minwax.com/products/protective/polycrylic.cfm)

The pictures were taken on the driveway under the shade of a tree. The spots you see is the filtered sun.

We delivered it last night to our grandson. He was pleased to get it.

Steve, we enjoyed working with Lyptus and will use it again. It milled up well and we like the grain pattern. It is heavy and dulls planer blades. And I had more slivers than usual. But every wood has it pluses and minus

Lumber supplier brought me some samples here while back. Good looking stuff. Nice rich red color is what I like.

Wonderful! I also like how the piece has a finished panel back which ultimately makes it more versatile. Bravo!

as others have said, well done and nice proportions on the dresser. like the turned legs, they make a nice addition to the total piece

John, the finish turned out great. I really like the dark handles as well. Real nice touch. Excellent project!

Any information or better pictures of what appears to be a name plate on the back?

Very nice, John. The design, the wood, and all I can see of the workmanship. I'd be happy to have that in my home.

What a great project. I love the finish. I have been using Lyptus for almost a year and have only done natural or slightly darkened mahog finish. Your finish is the way I will go next. Thanks for the mfr. information. Did you brush or spray?

We brushed on and wiped off. We don't a way to spray it.
