Think one of these 2hp Harbor freight dust collectors pulls enough air to work well for two 1300x900 cutting lasers with 6" ports?

Keith,

I have used the HF 2hp DC in the past for both a CNC Router and a Laser Engraver but not both at the same time. This DC, although a decent machine for the price, lacks the necessary CFM to handle two machines at the same time IMO.

You could try Harbor Freight has a real good return policy. Also with the coupon they are only $169 so you could get 2

I use one per machine and it seems just right, splitting one dust collector to two lasers may not work so well.

I have a 2hp HF DC, I use it as an engraving chip vacuum...

How much more air it moves than the 1hp model I'm not sure, but-- at this time I'm using a single 1hp connected to my 1300x900 Triumph and the Explorer at the same time. The Triumph has a 6" opening, the EXP a 4"...

As long as the doors are shut, it will evacuate smoke from both machines at the same time, but it's definitely not ideal. Does keep smoke out of the room, so for now I'm happy.
I now have a second blower to hook up, just need to find a few minutes and do it...
