View Full Version : Anyone adapted a Makita BO5041K sander to a vac?

I've been searching for a couple of days on this. The vac outlet on the tool is about 7/8" or 22mm od. I was hoping to find an adapter to use my Bosch vac hose (~27mm id / ~35mm od) but no luck. It looks like a simple sleeve or piece of rubber tubing would work, but haven't found a source yet.
The Bosch hose, btw, works well with my Festool 1400 eq plunge router and a cheap shop vac.
Thanks,
Larry

The Fein adaptor should do the trick; http://www.amazon.com/Fein-69908100131-921072K13-Step-Adaptor/dp/B00005M1SW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452720218&sr=8-1&keywords=fein+adapter

This is the one I have between my Makita BO6030 and my Ridgid shop vac.
