I recall the squash from last christmas (or halloween). That was funny :-)

I was asked to turn this for a buddy at work today. I get some odd requests but this takes the biscuit for now........

Here's my entry. This was for a pine needle basket exchange based on the theme "Broken Item". I broke a warped, wet turned bowl in half, burned the edges and coiled half a basket attached to the bowl. But not as weird as a bullet!

Earl, that is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Does it get used for anything or does it sit on a shelf somewhere?

Can't tell you...or show you... ;)

Earl, I really like your entry in this catagory! That's a sharp piece.

Actually, Charles, it was given away as part of a pine needle basket exchange. I'd post the one I got in exchange but it's a broken gourd and really wierd...but nothing to do with turning. I still have the other half of the one I made but haven't done the coiling part yet.

NOW, where is everybody else's entry?? Let's 'fess up and show them!

Neoprene bushings for the suspension of my boat trailer.

I tried parting with my parting tool but it kept re-turning.
