How many of you made them this year? How many of you kept them in the past? Any good woodworking resolutions this year?

Wake up at a consistent hour, each day of the week. I'm not lazy and not a late sleeper but some days, am required to get up at 5AM and other days, sleep in til 7 or 8. I feel like my productivity is better if I get up at the same time each day.

My resolutions are the same every year, to continue to learn, teach, show kindness to people and animals, and be alert for someone who needs help.

Oh, and to play a bunch in the shop but that takes no resolve. :-)

The best and the only one I made and kept was to quit smoking in 1972.

I don't make em cause I don't keep em. I did quit smoking in 1997 after 33 years of smoking. I wish I could loose some #'s but thats as tough as quitting smokin maybe tougher

I always thought the problem with most people's New Years resolutions are they either deprive you of something you want to do, or they punish your in some way. I take a different approach. I take up new hobbies. Over the years I've started :

Archery
Roller blading
Bicycling
Downhill skiing
Cross country skiing
Muzzle loading
Combat range running
Tennis

There are others I haven't mentioned. And after 30 years of that the one thing I have to say - boy, do I have a garage full of stuff!:)

I also took up a new hobby. Reloading.
Your garage can't be any worse than mine. ;-)

Watch out, it can end up costing a bunch to. It seems to grow all by itself :)

Yeah, it did. Bought my second press today. Lee Pro 1000. I'm going through about 300 rds/week.
