Today I got carried away changing out power plugs on a new RAS I picked up, and a few 240V extension cords I made years ago. The cords were all 12G for 20A, but some had 15A plugs on them, because that is what I had laying around at the time. Anyway, I changed them all to 20A receptacles on both ends, so I could use any of them with any machine I have.

Went to HD and got some straight blade plugs and receptacles. They seem to change suppliers a lot, and this time they had some by Hubbell. I just want to tell everybody, they were the easiest plugs I have ever wired, and I want to recommend them. They are the black and white ones, and both ends of the cords went on quickly and easily.

Some, I have used in the past seem designed to be difficult, but these were so easy, I am going back to get a few for future use.

No doubt, Hubbel makes pretty good products. And I know what you're talking about HD changing suppliers a lot. More and more I see "made in China" on their shelves.
