Does anyone own or have any experience with Turgeon Tools spokeshaves? I prefer metal to wooden and they seem to be very well made, less expensive than Boggs but a bit more than Veritas. I have many LN and Veritas tools, but like the idea of supporting a very small shop if the tool warrants it. Please limit any comments to Turgeon, as I'm familiar with the pluses/minuses of the other mentioned spokeshaves. Thanks.

I never heard of them before but a quick internet search found a review at Woodworkers Guild of America, they seemed to like them.

Thanks Jim. I saw that favorable review, but it was the only review I could find. Thus I was hoping someone had hands-on experience, as I had never heard of this company either.

They look very similar to the Boggs spokeshaves. IBC makes good blades, too. If you buy one, let us know how it works.
