Just received some great looking mystery chisels from TFJ holiday special. They were sold without any info, Stu is on holidays and i do not want to bother him.
Anyone have any tips about these chisels, e.g. their maker, steel, wood type. They were priced nicely and look cool. Their bevel is at 35 so I am assuming it should be set around 30. Is that right?

Thanks!

I just figured it out. They are Koyamaichi's 'Dragon' chisels without the dragon engraving.
White steel with white oak dyed finish handles. Seems like I got more than I hoped for:)
Now I need to figure out how to properly sharpen them.

Congrats! I missed the holiday special. The smaller look to be mortise chisels, so the 35 deg may be the correct angle.

Best,
