SMC extremely slow for me today

Takes forever to load a different forum or post.

Me too. Unusually so. I eventually had to shut down everything and restart just the browser which helped a lot but it's still not up to normal speed. I haven't yet tried an internet traceroute or ping to see if there is a server bottleneck somewhere but might if it doesn't clear up.

We've been having some cool weather out here so I just figured that the bits were moving slower than usual.:)

But, yes, it's been slow this am.

I connected to my proxy server in Ohio, and that helped. Maybe the problem is in Chicago.

The problem seems to be in our local area and the NOC has been notified.

Oops, I spoke to fast, the problem was on our end. Aaron Koehl just contacted me to let me know that he thinks the problem has been corrected. Once again we were being crawled aggressively and all of our CPU's were at 95% so Aaron made additional changes to our server configuration.
