Hi all. I've been around for a while but haven't posted before. I also searched phenolic and router table top on SMC and Google, but still need some help.

I have a Norm Abrams style router cabinet and received a new Woodpecker phenolic table top and lift for Christmas. The top is drilled and tapped for mounting to a WP stand, which can be accessed from underneath. The drilled and tapped screw holes obviously don't go all the way through the table top.

So what are my best options to mount this thing? The easiest would be to just drill and counterscrew the top and put in some flathead screws. But I'd prefer to keep the top clean of any addt'l hardware if possible. Another option would be to use some metal L-brackets.

Would appreciate any advice from others who have addressed this.

Thx much and Merry Christmas.

I have the same top and mounted it to non Woodpecker stand. I used brown craft paper and an awl to locate the threaded holes. I then transfered the hole locations to a quarter sheet of ply. I mounted the Woodpecker top to the ply them mounted the ply to my stand.
