I have a SCM sander that I need to hook up to the extraction system.
the machine manual states the following for the main suction and the blower() unit
327694
327695
4040m3/hr + 2280m3/hr= 6330m3/hr = 3720CFM at 2313Pa
3720CFM at 2300Pa is a lot for a 4~5.5hp extractor. My current extractor is a 5.5hp extractor. I have a feeling it wont do a proper job.
I guess I may have to buy a smaller dust extractor for the oscillating blower unit and place it right next to the sander just servicing the oscillating blower.
Or just upgrade to a larger 7.5hp or 10hp hp extrator?
Whats your opinion
