I got one of them to try out and I like it well enough for dovetailing pine so far. After sawing out the dovetail waste it chops very cleanly in pine.
I was surprised that it sharpened very easily on washita and honed nicely on black arkansas that has some old diamond paste residue (2 microns or something close to it).
Back was pretty flat too and I flattened it a bit on carborundum.

It definitely worked better on oilstones then PMV11 chisels, so it must be relatively soft? Still a decent feeling chisel, but I have not tried it in any hard woods.
