I have a jointech smart miter. Got it at a ReStore months ago on impulse for $30 and just getting around to trying it out.
The transparent cursor is missing. I take it this is a rectangle of plexiglass or polycarbonate bonded to the aluminum of the slider. I keep hearing about the "anti-paralax" feature which I presume means there is a cursor line on both the top and bottom of the plastic. From a pic in the manual it looks as if the plastic might be about 1/4" thick.
Could someone with one of these confirm the dimensions before I set about making one?
Thanks!
