I just got this little 10" saw off craigslist, pretty happy with it for 50$. I have a new blade ordered, and I have some oil and lubrication to work on but it runs nice. one question, I would like to replace the power switch. any suggestions on switches that would look decent, doesn't have to be perfect, just something better then the red and green switch like my newer jet has without spending a lot of money. also where should I put the switch?

I just bought one of these for my craftsman bandsaw that needs a new switch.

and it comes with the original base.

I got one of these (http://www.rockler.com/safety-power-tool-switch) a couple years ago for my table saw when it was on sale (like it is now). Good switch, and I really like the large stop paddle. I made up an L bracket and have it hanging from the front rail of my saw, in front of the left table extension. It's back far enough from the edge that it doesn't get in the way, but I can still hit the stop button with my thigh or knee as easily as my hand.

I was looking for something more like this http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Industry-AC-380V-5A-ON-OFF-Start-Stop-Self-Locking-Push-Button-Switch/2035649951.html?spm=2114.01020208.3.42.7ASdOv&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_2,searchweb201644_0,sea rchweb201560_5

reminds me of the power switch on pm1150

Still a fan of the big stop paddles. :) Good question on where to mount it though - My old Grizzly G1019 has it mounted to the stand so I have to reach down pretty far to turn off the saw. I'd like something much higher like they do it nowadays mounted to the arm between the wheels, or even something mounted underneath the table (that wouldn't get in the way when you need to tilt or open the wheel cover).

I am to, for most things, the switch I got for my bigger bandsaw is very similar to the one you posted, I just think the delta is cool looking, and wanted to keep the vintage look. I might try this if the motor is under 5 amps, painted grey to match bandsaw would look pretty good.

or go with something like this and make my own plate.

I have one of those, I rebuilt it about 2 years ago. I got it from my Dad who found it in a junk yard back in the 1960s. its a decent saw, and you can get tires on McMaster Carr if you are willing to cut them, crown them and put them on yourself.
I jus use a wall switch my Dad had on the saw. I guess I should replace it one of these days.
