I bought a Jet Stationary Combo Belt Sander (my oops machine) last year and the only thing I've used it for so far is correcting my mistakes. For whatever reason, tonight I misjudged the depth of my through tenon domino, leaving several mm proud of my project. The belt sander makes quick work of removing the offending dominos. I've used this sander to correct joints misaligned and various other things I've managed to screw up in my learning process.

This got me to thinking, what is your oops machine?

4 lb hammer.
I was making a set of radius dishes for guitar making. The bit slipped in the router, twice, effectively wasting an hour of work and a half sheet of MDF... not to mention it was 95* and I was covered in MDF dust... Allegedly I beat the MDF disks until the hammer head and handle were no longer connected to each other. I promptly replaced the handle in the hammer and the router straightened up real quick.
