Small maple ornaments pearl-Exed and glitter.

I've been turning some solid hard maple into ornaments for our chruche's cookie walk. They are about 1 1/2" x 4 to 5" long. They were sprayed black dry brushed with various Pearl - Ex powders. Then I sprayed them with clear lacquer and while wet I sprinkled them with various colores of glitter. Lastly a few more coats of glitter. They display various dichromic reflections. It was good practice on coloring and the effects of glitter on Mica powders.

Bob, did you make a video of you turning them? If you did, are you going to be entering it into the 2015 Christmas Ornament competition that Al Stratton and Carl Jacobson(sp) have going on? They're good looking ornaments, and you never know, they just might be winners.
