Ordered and and received a Blanco front apron sink. Looking at the dimension drawing there is an angular measurement shown as 2* >8<. That's 2 degrees but what is the significance of the ">8<"?

Is it possibly a formatting code gone awry? unicode number for a degree sign is 176 or B0 in hexadecimal

Probably the tolerance. In this case, that would be 2 degrees, plus or minus 8 minutes.

Or in forums such as this, hold the Alt and type 167. Alt176 gives you this, ░
