View Full Version : What is it? Indexing Face Plate?

Picked this up at an estate sale....my guess is that it is some kind of indexing FP am I correct? It is about 6" diameter and has a 1" 8 spindle thread. It would also seem there are parts missing? Any ideas? Thank you :-)

You didn,t show a view of the front, but my guess is that it might be part of an eccentric chuck.

Yep, it would be an indexing face plate. You would need something that attaches to the headstock to hold a locking pin.

It is an index plate, I have one just like it, it is or was sold by Penn State Industries. The current picture doesn't show it to be the same now. https://www.pennstateind.com/store/LIXU.html

Yup...think you are right Mrvin....I'm missing the bracket & pin assembly. Thanks for all the help :-)
