HI Bob, I wanted to find out the best way to make a longer Festool MFT Table out of the MFT 1080 and the 79" accessory rails....is it just better to order a second MDF panel and cut it down, or was it Festools' intent for the customer to just make a one piece unit out of MDF? I dont think the MFT 800 would work(I thought if it did, it would be cheaper) because I want the table to keep the 1080 width, and I don't think the two tables use the same width legs. I don't have the room for a wide one like on the Festool website. It would be nice if Festool would just sell the necessary top to fit those rails they sell! Your input is greatly appreciated.
