Hi everyone. I have been away for awhile and have missed the forum. My wife and I had our first baby girl and what an awsome experience that was. Being a daddy is by far the coolest thing I have ever done. I will attach photos of her when they get developed. Oh and her name is Chloe Corinne.

Back to my question. I have a client in florida that has requested a rocking cradle. The interesting part is that she has a friend that has an antique one that has a "wind up" mechanism that keeps the cradle rocking for quite awhile. I have never seen one of these. All of the rocking contraptions that I have seen utilize batteries of some sort. I would assume it used some type of spring mechanism but I have no idea. I figured rather then beat my head against the wall trying to figure it out I thought I would ask you smart folks if you have ever seen one of these and how does it work. Does anyone know of a vendor that sells these or how to make one? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Take care

I have never heard of one, but it sounds like a really neato product!
