Well, I'm getting real close to getting my shop up and running. Tools have been in storage for a little over a year after the move and I'm anxious to get them out...

Once I get up and going though, I'm going to need some wood. Last place we lived, I could get rough alder, ash, birch and oak, and various sheets of ply from the lumber yard. I'm looking for something around the Sulphur Springs - Mt Pleasant area. Yes, there is a Lowes, but they don't have what I'm looking for. The net doesn't come up with much. Only place I know of right now is about an hour and a half away.

Anyone around got any good ideas?

Thanks,

Troy

Phillips Forest Products in Dekalb is about 35 minutes from Mt Pleasant. They carry a good stock.

Harry - I've only driven by there a couple of times, but never stopped in. Might be my only source, which isn't a bad thing I'm sure.

David - Unfortunately, I don't have enough places around here that'll allow me to be so lucky :)
