Are PM mortising bits/chisels good?

Im trying to decide between a set of Powermatic mortiser chisels/bits and the ones LV sells. Both sets retail for about the same price, $170. I can get 20% off and free shipping on the PMs. I read in the other mortising bits thread that the LV are excellent. No surprise!

How are the Powermatics? Do the sharpen up nicely and hold an edge well? Do they need muchtuning to get good use?
