I am looking for a used 6" jointer for smaller scale basic woodworking projects

came across a used Powematic model 50 for $350 OBO. Looks to be in OK shape from the pictures and I haven't made the trip to look at it yet as its 2 hours drive.
i have read there is a market for the older well built vintage machines. Is this one to consider restoring and at what price?

The Model 50 is a high quality machine made from high grade castings from a Meehanite certified foundry.
What price depends on condition. Ready to go with good quality electricals and motor, it should be about $500.00. In junky condition needing lots of work: $50.00 to $250.00.
On a used jointer, assume new or sharpened knives and a couple of 6203 sealed bearings for the cutterhead.
