I have been thinking of building new garage carriage doors. i have a question about VGDF veneer. I was think of building a fir frame with 1/4 plywood CDX on both sidea and maybe skin with a VGDF veneer. But every supplier i talked with says none of their veneers are assembled with Exterior glue. So i question the ability of the skin to hold up to the weather. what do you think?

I would not take a chance. You could use solid wood VGDF or cut your own veneer and mount it to exterior grade plywood...remember to add a similar veneer on the back side

Unibond is water resistant and works with a vacuum press or panel press
