I'm trying to find some kind of wire metal fence to extend the height of drawer boxes for a pantry pullout.

The boxes have 3" sides and I want to give the client the option of increasing the height while keeping visibility. Can't find anything online or through my hardware supplier. Any help appreciated!

I used something like that for a shoe shelf I built. I got it from Richelieu.

I'd probably go with acrylic or something similar as it'll be cheaper and is pretty much the same type of idea Blum is using on it's drawer boxes.

I think what your looking for is woven wire grills and one supplier is Outwater. Be prepared as the stuff is ridiculously expensive, (my opinion anyway), for what it is.

good luck,

Might try a search for something similar to this
http://www.webstaurantstore.com/regency-36-chrome-wire-shelf-ledge-for-wire-shelving-36-x-4/460EC36LDG.html
Or find a source for wire mesh panels, bolt cutter to custom size.
Holes in top edge of drawer box same as wire gauge for insertion.
Scope out the local big box wire shelving section for possibilities
