Buying ML Campbell products

Many folks on this forum have had good things to say about ML Campbell top coats and other spray finishing products. After much research, and after learning that a local MLC distributor has a tint technician on site who will color match whatever sample I bring in, I decided to go with ML Campbell Aqualente to finish a furniture piece I recently completed. However, I was told by the distributor that they do not sell to consumers, only to cabinet shops etc. So all of you who have posted here about ML Campbell products, are you all professional painters or cabinet makers? Are these products really not available to serious woodworkers who are not in business but build only for themselves?
