Question: Running a 50 hz 220v motor on 60 hz

I know running a 60 hz motor on a 50 hz system can cause it to run slow and hot and possibly burn out faster. But what about a 50 hz motor on a 60 hz system. Is this easy on a motor or have some other problems? Forrest where are you?

If it's a 3-phase motor it'll run fine, but 20% faster than it's 50 Hz nameplate RPM.

Don't know about single-phase motors.
