Restoring a Delta 34-441. I could probably use it as is, but I'm determined to try to retrofit a true riving knife. My arbor bracket part number is 422-02-014-2001. I want to attempt a retrofit similar in design to this one: http://thewoodenscrew.blogspot.com/2011/10/well-its-finally-done.html. He's got a beefier saw arbor, so I'm hesitant to tap into my arbor bracket. On eBay, I see some Rockwell TAB-506 priced reasonably, and they look pretty much the same as my 422-02-014-2001. The seller says that the castings are identical but I'd like to do my due diligence and confirm that that's true before I buy. Google hasn't been helpful in confirming interchangeability. Do you guys know where I can confirm this type of detail?
