Finally did it (Not so hidden gloat)

Well I've been thinking about buying a better bandsaw now for several years and today I finally pulled the trigger. The reason was.... I was resawing a 8" wide piece of poplar on my 1 hp jet with a new timberwolf blade and it was very slow going. So I called Laguna and they had a special. The Lt14 se (2hp Baldor motor) with stand,delivery,and resaw king blade for 1495. I would have bought a bigger saw (like 16 or 18 inch) but I have a basement shop and I have this image of the saw falling down the steps and crashing! This one only weighs about 300 pounds. So wish me luck

Hi Dave, Nice gloat. That 2hp Baldor will give you all the power you need. Where is Upper Dublin PA. I've noticed a bunch of SMC members from PA lately.

Upper Dublin is about 10 minutes west of the Willow Grove mall. Also about 10 minutes east of where rt 309 and rt 63 intersect. Basically a suburb of Phila.
