G0514XF CSA Certified

Anyone have any idea why the G0514X is CSA certified but the G0514XF isn't? And is that a huge deal?

Hi Steven, if you're in the USA then no it's not an issue.

If you're a Canadian then it is a big issue as our electrical code prohibits the installation and operation of non approved equipment.

Reasons can range from "it's not worth certifying the equipment because we have a similar certified model" to "we don't want to make the modifications to the equipment because we have a similar model, or don't foresee enough sales to make it worthwhile"
