I am making some Corian Cutting Boards. When I put a routered edge on it is a little duller than the top.
what is the best way to get it to match? Thanks in advance, Kevin

Is Corian really a good material for use as a cutting board? It's my understanding that it tends to dull knives more quickly than wood or plastics. Would it serve better as a trivet?

You will have to sand and polish the edge to the same degree as the top. Each manufacturer publishes a schedule for matte semi-gloss and gloss. Usually you can find the schedule online. Here is one : http://casf.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/K-25298-Finishing-and-Polishing.pdf

I made all the window sills in my house out of Corian. Corian machines well and sands well. Like Ruperto stated it is just a matted of sanding the routed edge to the same grit of rest of the piece of Corian to make it match. Sanding Corian is just like sanding a piece of hard maple... work through finer grits until you get the finish you want.
