This little Maple burl box has a 2" diameter USMC emblem embedded in the lid, covered by a protective layer of polyester resin. Hope you like it...Semper Fi!

Beautiful figure on that Maple burl Ed! Nice shape and fit on the lid. Very, very nice piece.

Beautifully grained and executed maple box... if I had one critique it would be that it would have looked a whole lot better with a NAVY emblem in the top... :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Between you and Big Mike - I'm afraid to show any mediocre box I can make!

That's a compliment - You 2 make some of the nicest boxes I've seen!

Great job and I'll post my boxes as you 2 are also great teachers with your advice, critiques, etc.!

The Figure is beautiful, the form is very well executed, and the finish enhances the overall project.

From the Navy to you "WELL DONE" and I'll cart you around anytime. All you have to do is teach me to do THAT!
