View Full Version : Sawmill Close to I-80

A friend will be traveling from Charlotte, NC back west next week and I am trying to find a sawmill close to I-80 where he could stop in and pick up some lumber for me. Mostly white oak, cherry, alder, etc. I would love to get some shorts, 6' - 7' lengths.

Can anyone suggest one I can contact?

80 is a loooong road, There are A LOT of sawmills close to 80. How is he getting from Charlotte to 80?

Yeah, should have paid closer attention. Looks like he will be on 70 coming out of Kansas City, then eventually hit 40, then highway 74 into Charlotte. The reverse coming back. The shortest route is what he will be taking.
