I have a Vega 1500 Series lathe (not the bowl lathe) that I picked up as part of a package deal. Unfortunately, the hardware for locking the banjo down has gone missing. I would very much appreciate it if anybody with one of these lathes could take a bunch of pics of the tool rest and banjo, from an assortment of angles so I can determine whether or not I can replace the bits myself or get the bits from Vega.

I have no idea at all whether they would match or not, probably need pics to figure that out.

Apologies in advance, but I read the title and all I could think of is my #1 all time coveted item, the Vega #7 Whyte Laydie, so here's a picture. Turning rims for banjos is something I do on my lathe, hence the interest in the thread.

Your best bet may be to call Randy at Vega.
