Hello Sawmill Creek,

I'm a partner in a small cabinet and wood working shop in South Carolina. This is a rough/rustic ceder farm table we designed and built for a client that is opening a fair trade store.

The top is rough cut 2x12s that are 12 feet long the legs are rough cut 4x4. The table top is joined with Festool Dominoes. We finished it in a light coat of gray stain and clear.

Cool looking table. I like the legs. Is the top removable for breakdown and transport?

Justin,

the top is removable so we could transport it and easily get it into the store space.

Looks great! I'm about to build a similar table with X legs for a friend. How did you attach the legs to the table top?

Hoang, We used some 1x8 ceder cut to about 4 inches wide on top of the legs then used screws to attach the whole leg assembly the bottom of the table. We wanted it simple to take apart if they ever needed to.
