Hi guys,

Well My Rayfine is giving me issues again.

I just replaced the power supply less then a week ago, and I was running a job and only half of it got cut out. So I pulsed the laser and I'm only reading about 6mA. So... how do I tell if it's the tube (which is an RECI an probably dosen't have more than 200 hours on it at this point), or power supply? Granted it could be a controller issue, but I would like to check out the tube and power supply first.

Thanks!

And it just dawned on me to hit the test button on the power supply to by pass the controller, and I got the same low amp result, so I'm assuming the controller is ok.

If the PSU test button is giving the same output then it's down to the tube or new PSU

What colour is the plasma? (not a great indicator but the whiter it is tends to lean toward a dying tube due to gas depletion or damage)
