Someone posted this link to a YouTube video in another fourum. It's a bit long but I found it interesting.

At one point the guy briefly mentions that he's not too worried about cut quality because he takes whatever he cuts to his sander for finishing. I assume this implies that sharpening this way impacts cut quality but I'm not sure.
What do you guys think about this method? I think it might work for my small band saw mill where are cut quality is not that critical.
I'm not sure about blades sharpened like this as far as cut quality for general work in the shop goes.
Would you try sharpening a blade like this for use in your shop?
