Going to try this as a poll

How much shop time do you get in a week?

I don't know about the 'pro' status, but I spend 40-50 hours a week on woodworking projects. Some of those hours are at my computer working on new designs or tweaking designs with as-built data.

On top of that, I now have the 'privilege' of being the editor of our woodworking club's newsletter. I'm the editor starting with the September issue which I just put to bed. It's only 10 pages, but this is my first effort so I've spent way too many hours in the past month getting templates done and compiling all the data. Some day, I'll learn my lesson about volunteering!

As long as I'm injured then all the time had I spent training is shop time. This injury has been the best thing for my furniture productivity!

I put in a vote for the 5 - 15 hours and it is still not enough to finish all that I've started!

Gotta figure a way for my day job not to interfere with my fun time in the shop and still earn enough to live on!

I used to get more like 20 hours a week in. Lately I have been lucky to get in 10! Aww well, I am a lot less busy in the winter!

had the sofa, but needed the room to work. the season determines my shop time. when its huntin season, i aint there fer more than a few hours a week! if i have to be. after that then the work can begin and the hours start stackin up. it more peaceful there, no background noise to contend with :D

I cycle, there are weeks where I get 20-30 and others where I get nothing, which is too often these days. I get more in the winter months than I do in the summer months for obvious reasons. Projects also dictate my time variances.
