I would like to extend my lathe bed I was wondering If one of you has done this and how did you do it.

Glenn, Which lathe do you have? You can buy bed extensions. Have you looked at that option?

You can buy bed extensions for most Powermatics. If you ask this question in the "Turners Corner" of this forum a number of Powermatic owners I'll most likely answer. Providing the model number of your lathe will help.

Yes I could BUY a bed extension BUT I don"t have $1200 plus shipping.
