Is the time off on everybodies computer?
It's 8:40 EST and the time stamp on the treads say 7:40.
1) I never noticed this before.
2) I've been abducted by aliens and some how have been returned in some type of time warp.

Please respond before I go out of my mind.

Asked and answered a few times. Aaron said that they don't sync the server's clock to a remote source and like all computers, the internal clock slips over time. Besides, somewhere it's cocktail hour anyway... ;)

Thanks Jim, I never set my watch by the site time, but the time still seems to be off by an hour. I guess I've always been anal about time.

Asked and answered a few times. Aaron said that they don't sync the server's clock to a remote source and like all computers, the internal clock slips over time. Besides, somewhere it's cocktail hour anyway... ;)Don't think that's it: it normally drifts forward about a minute per day, looks like they adjust it every a week or two. Sometime yesterday afternoon, it slipped straight backward almost exactly an hour, from about 8 minutes ahead to about 57 minutes behind. (I happened to hit the "mark forums read" control just before and after the "Event".)

Addendum: this post shows on my computer as "7:12AM", it's now actually 8:06AM PST.

Richard,

If yours is off by an hour, make sure your Time Zone setting and Daylight Savings adjustment are correct.. you can change this in your UserCP.

Thanks Aaron, but the problem seemed to clear itself up tonight. I can finally sleep.
