Stanley 923

I picked up a 10" Stanley 923 the other day. Just out of idle curiousity, does anyone know of a site where I could find out when it was made based on the serial number on it?

Are we talking about the #923 10" Brace?

And unfortunately, I don't know of a type study on braces. I did check prices on the net and see dealers that have them for anywhere from $15 to $65 dollars.

If someone has a Walters, there might be some info in it.
